Photonic Scan Effect

Lens Surface

The application of the quality analysis process during the construction of any material, represents an essential mechanism in an industrial environment.

The Photonic Scanning Microscope has the facility of being incorporated into the quality process, especially when applied in microscopic surface analysis.

One of the main performances of photonic analysis of the Microscopic is in the superficial scanning of the glass material, mainly in the analysis of the surface of the Spherical Lenses.

When applying the surface analysis of the spherical lenses to the microscope, a photonic image set is obtained which details the microscopic irregularities of the lenses.

In this context, the Photonic Scanning Microscope can be applied in the lens construction process as a mechanism for analyzing the lens surface, both in the lapidation phase and in the polishing process, by checking the quality of its surface (Spherical Lens).

                    LAPIDATION

A method of preparing the lens to be shaped according to its focal length and diameter, so as to reduce the irregularities of its microscopic surface

Faced with this process, the Photonic Scanning Microscope proves to be very useful in the analysis of the surface of the lens, proving to be an innovative process that photonically shapes the irregularities as successive circles and small microscopic valleys. This procedure can demonstrate a new process that controls the quality of the surface of the lens, generating a more qualified material, being able to be used in Microscope, Telescope, Glasses and medical equipment.

                    POLYMER

In this process the lens is polished to remove from any microscopic protrusion on its surface (Spherical Lenses).
